Big Time Movie and Rags: Double Movie

Nickelodeon Home Entertainment, along with Paramount Home Media Distribution have combined two of the latest and greatest, original Nickelodeon TV movies to one DVD in Big Time Movie and Rags: Double Movie, released on August 28, 2012. My tween-aged nieces caught both of these movies when their first aired on Nickelodeon and loved them so they were super excited to discover that they were combined onto one DVD. Big Time Movie and Rags: Double Movie is sure a hit with tween and teen girls in your life--especially if they are Big Time Rush and other Nickelodeon stars and shows.

The Aristocats Comes To Blu-Ray

One of my favorite Disney movies, The Aristocats, has just been released on Blu-ray high definition for the first time from Walt Disney Studios. Disney's 20th full length animated feature has arrived on store shelves as a Special Edition 2-Disc Blu-ray Combo Pack, as well as on Digital. It has been digitally restored and features some great bonus features.

Eye Majic Is The World's Quickest & Easiest Eye Shadow

Eye Majic from Majic Beauty Pty Ltd is "the world's quickest and easiest eye shadow to apply." It really takes all the guess work out of applying eye shadow. You can have perfect, precise eye makeup in just 4 easy steps:

1. Apply: Hold the specially designed applicator pad to the base of the eyelid area for 4 seconds.
2. Slide the applicator across the eyelid in an upward and outward (use the back of the applicator to blend or tone the eye shadow for a softer look if desired--this is how you can correct any user error as well!)

I admit, I am not very talented when it comes to eye makeup, so for me, Eye Majic is perfect. It allows me to get a more complete look easily. With 10 matte styles, 6 pearl styles and 6 leopard styles there are plenty of styles to choose from--casual and fun to sophisticated and proper. They also offer eyeliner to complete the look. One of my favorite parts--besides how easy it is to get a great look, is the fact they barely take up any space in your makeup bag--awesome for travel, keeping in your gym bag or purse changing your eye makeup at the office. They are hygienically sealed, so they travel great and stay clean!

I must admit, I love most everything Disney and I have The Tigger Movie on VHS--that is starting to wear out--so it was perfect timing to upgrade to the new Bounce-A-RRRific Special Edition Disney The Tigger Movie Combo Pack. Plus, now we can watch it in the car and other places where a VHS is no longer available--we were very excited to get the combo pack!  My 5 year old, shares my love of Disney (and so does my husband) and Tigger is one of our favorites--probably because he is so high energy, like my son is! This is definitely a must have for all Disney fanatics/collectors (like me) and for anyone with little ones who love Tigger and Pooh!

Lady and the Tramp II Scamp's Adventure Comes To Blu-Ray

Another of the Disney titles released this week is Lady and the Tramp II Scamp's Adventure:

Since Pocahontas has been such a hit at our house we have not even shown Lady and the Tramp II to our daughter, but I did take a quick peek.  I admit that when I was younger that Lady and the Tramp was my favorite so I had to see how their little pup Scamp turned out.  While I was watching the movie I noticed that this collection has both sing-a-longs and some classic clips starting Pluto that you will not want to miss.

Pocahontas & Pocahontas II Now On Blu-Ray Combo Pack

Disney fans are going to love the titles just released on 3 disk DVD Blu-Ray combo packs take for example Pocahontas &  Pocahontas II

For those who do not know the story of Pocahontas:
 
 “Pocahontas” tells the story of a free-spirited girl (voiced by Irene Bedard) who wonders what adventures wait “Just Around the River Bend.”  Pocahontas – along with her playful pals Meeko the raccoon and Flit the hummingbird – relies on the guidance of her loving and wise Grandmother Willow (voice by Linda Hunt) when English settlers arrive on the shores of her village.  Her meeting with the courageous Captain John Smith (voiced by Mel Gibson) leads to a friendship that bridges the gap between two cultures and changes history.

Until now our daughter had only heard the story of Pocahontas and as you can image like many little girls she fell in love with it.  I have spent much of the past two days watching both the first Pocahontas and Journey To A New World and I am sure with it being a holiday weekend I will have many more chances to share in a great Disney title.

Imagination Movers Rock-O-Matic CD/DVD Review & Giveaway

If you have a little one then I am sure you are very familiar with the Imagination Movers.  Rich, Scott, Dave and Smitty have been together since 2003 and have their own show on Disney Junior and are about to start the second leg of a huge North American tour that hopefully is coming to a city very near you.

If you are fan of the Imagination Movers like my family is then you need to pick up Rock-O-Matic. Rock-O-Matic is a CD and DVD set.  The CD contains 18 tracks that has not stopped playing in my car since I put in, my daughter will not let me listen to anything else...and to be honest it really is fun for me to listen to as well.  One thing I have always loved about the Imagination Movers is that their music and show appeals to kids and adults.  The DVD is a fun and fast-paced mix of music videos and skits.  The 4 part Great Moments in Creativity and the Yuck Yuck Comedy segments are a fun way to break up the music.  The videos themselves are a fun variety of styles including live action, animation, one that looks like claymation and even one using video shot by some of their fans.  The DVD is on its 3rd viewing back to back to back because my daughter is that into it.
