Disney On Ice Treasure Trove Review

The princesses, princes, Mickey, Minnie and many of your other favorite Disney characters have arrived in St. Louis to entertain you at Chaifetz Arena that has been transformed into a Treasure Trove.

My family and I attended the opening night show last night and as with all of the previous productions we have seen that have been put on by Feld Entertainment we were not disappointed.  I don't want to give too much away so that you and your kids will be surprised, but some characters make an appearance in this show that I don't recall seeing for quite some time and some I have not seen in a show before.

The first half of the show featured movies my daughter has not seen yet including Peter Pan and Alice in Wonderland though she was familiar with the stories.  She sat almost hypnotized by the action on the ice and was thoroughly entertained.  My husband and I really enjoyed the dancing playing cards segment from Alice in Wonderland. If your little one is a fan of the Disney Princesses then the second half of the show is really going to excite them. By my count there were 9 princesses and their significant others by the end of the show skating around.  One of my daughter's favorite parts of the show was The Lion King probably because earlier in the day she had watched the movie on the Disney Channel.  Of course she was probably most excited to see Rapunzel.

The first half of the show is approximately 40 minutes long followed by a 20 minute intermission.  The last half of the show is about 45-50 minutes.  Disney on Ice Treasure Trove will be in St. Louis through Sunday.

My Springfield Mommy readers can save $5 on select shows when they use code FFA12 when they order online at http://thechaifetzarena.com/event_429.  This code is good on tickets prices at $13 and $19, however not good on opening night since those tickets have already been priced at $10.

Thanks to Feld Entertainment for my tickets used in this review. Opinions are honest.
