We Share Byte Review & Giveaway

It's time to get ready to head back to school, and computer work is an essential part of many students school life-starting quite young. Many students use USBs to take their work from home to school and back. Since USBs are such a part of student life, why not make them fun and add some character to USB.

Dane-Elec has created a line of USBs for preteens, teens and young adults--divided into 3 different categories--aimed for each age group.  They are (descriptions taken from the press release I received):

Only 2.5" tall, the ShareBytes are small enough to fit in a pocket or backpack for easy transport to and from school.  Dane-Elec ShareBytes are available in value packs of either two 4GB drives or two 8GB drives.

*LifeBytes: These fun USB drives feature bold graphics in three unique designs - Tribal, Peace and Tattoo. Teens and college students can transport their files in style! With a capless design and sliding mechanism, LifeBytes are sleek and compact. They are small enough (about 1" square) to fit in a pocket, backpack or laptop case for easy transport to and from school and around town. Dane-Elec LifeBytes are available in 8GB and 16GB capacities.

You can find these 2 USB lines at Target, Staples, Best Buy, Office Depot and other retailers, as well as through their online, WeShareBites website.  Each feature a 5-year warranty from Dane-Elec. 

I was given the Devil and Angel Sharebyte 4 GB USB set. They are very fun and would be great for sharing, of if you keep both--perfect to the type of day/assignment you are feeling like! The feature a capless design (I always end up losing the cap anyway) and I like that they are lanyard ready if you choose (lanyards are not included). They are compact enough to tuck into a pocket. I am passing these onto my 2 neices (I will let them decide who gets which one gets which). I think any of Dane-Elec USBs will be a big hit with students everywhere!
