Inspired by the kids footwear line SKECHERS, Twinkle Toes is a new full length animated film starting Grace "Twinkle Toes" Hastings and her struggle to overcome her fears especially stage fright.
As much as it pains me I have to admit that our daughter has recently become very independent and one way that she is showing us just how "big" she is getting to be is by watching TV in her room while playing with her doll house and Build-a-Bear's. Since Twinkle Toes arrived she has watched it at least a dozen times and refuses to let me come in and "hang out" while it is on. Needless to say it is a major hit in the eyes of a four year old.
From what I have been able to pick up on, Grace loves to dance and really wants to get into a local dance academy. The problem is she does not know if she is good enough so she has to decide if she is going to let fear get in the way of what she really wants. There is a lot of singing and dancing. The message of friendship is clear from the beginning, it takes support from those you love to become a success and that is exactly what happens.
Each time I get a peak at Twinkle Toes, I find the message to be positive and as a parent that is what really matters.
Twinkle Toes was released on July 31st so be sure to pick up a copy for your next Family Movie Night!
