Nationally acclaimed children's artist, Randy Kaplan, has brought classic country blues and ragtime songs from the 1920's, 30's and 40's to today's children with the release of his latest album, Mr. Diddie Wah Diddie (Universal Music Enterprises, 2012). My 5 year old and I really enjoyed the Randy Kaplan, Mr. Diddie Wah Diddie CD, each time a new song came on he wanted to know what it was called, then we had to listen to the entire CD repeatedly. It was humorous and had great rhythms that you just can't help bopping along to. It was fun to see, how many of the songs I could remember with the original lyrics and I love that it also game my son a brief but fun music history education.
