The Exergen Thermometer is easy to use, simply hold the button down and swipe across the forehead, release the button and read the temperature. It could not be any simpler, in fact if your child is sleeping they will not even move.
I found it to be accurate when compared to taking it with a digital thermometer under the tongue. I like that it is easy to use, quick and your child does not have to bothered with having their temperature the "good old fashion way" I can not image using any other method to track our daughter's fever.

I check my kids temperatures with another forehead thermometer that is unfortunately not so reliable! So sometimes I just go back to the regular oral thermometer.
