Wow was the first reaction I think my whole family had when we got close to Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World. The size of the main building is very impressive. I believe I read that it is 300,000 square feet in area. This is the Bass Pro Shops flagship store.
They have the area divided up into sections with large areas devoted to boats, fishing gear, camping gear, clothing, golf and much much more.
There is something incredible to look at throughout the entire building. One room is made to look as if you are underwater down to the detail of a fisherman's feet and legs dangling down from the ceiling as if you are looking up at him. There are large fish tanks in several places and waterfalls and ponds too.
There is also a restaurant and snack bar for you to get a drink or bite to eat. With as big as this store is I can definitely see spending so much time there you would need to get something to eat.
If you are looking for a particular sporting good item, I would find it hard to believe that you would not be able to find it at this store.
