My family was able to sample a package of each flavor and we really enjoyed them! I preferred the grape, but then again I love Welch's Concord Grape Juice and that is just what it tasted like to me, my 5 year old preferred the Strawberry. Both had a great fruity taste that was more realistic than most fruit candies, which I liked. My son loved the texture--it is nice and soft, much more so than most licorices we have experienced, so his jaws didn't get tired (he still prefers food that are not difficult to chew).
Would we recommend trying them? Yes! If you enjoy Welch's fruit juices, you will love the taste of the Welch's Filled Licorice! They are a tasty treat for these hot summer days and with back to school right around the corner, they would be a fun reward for a good day at school, plus, I think the adults will enjoy them just as much as the kids will!
