Today, my 5 year decided he wanted to make some cookies, but with the temps over 100 degrees here, I really didn't want to heat up the oven--so I went no-bake. We made No-Bake Cake pops (without the sticks) and tried out the adorable little No-Bake Cake Pop Mini-Molds from My Little Cupcake, LLC! My child was in heaven!
No-Bake Cake Pop Mini-Molds are easy to use little molds that are currently available in 4 shapes, including:
*My Little Cupcake
*My Little Heart
*My Little Cone
*My Little Cake Ball
We used their Oreo & Cream Cheese recipe, which we just happened to have some on hand--not full packages but we adjusted and were able to try out each mold once. I recommend following the directions on My Little Cupcake Pop's website fully in order to get the dough perfect for each step. I also thought the tip to dust with powdered sugar or cocoa powder to help keep the dough from sticking to the mold, was very useful (we used powdered sugar). It was a great bonding afternoon. After the dough was made--I would roll it into the 1 inch ball, and my son got to squish it into the mold, I popped them out of the mold and then after they had set in the fridge for a bit, he got to dip them in melted chocolate--then of course, we had to eat them! Yum!
The No-Bake Cake Pop Mini-Molds are NOT oven safe and they require hand-washing (not dishwasher safe--they risk warping).
I found the No-Bake Cake Pop Mini-Molds easy to use and they were super adorable. With a bit more planning you can make all sorts of adorable items and the molds, thankfully, take all the work out of getting that perfect shape! Super Cute! These cake pops are sure to be a hit at home, your next gathering, as holiday gifts or at a bake sale (be sure to check out their website for inspiration)! They are a hit at our house--next up--Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Pops!
