Margaret Comes To Blu-Ray July 10th

Were you lucky enough to catch Margaret in theaters?  I was not, but took the time last night to watch the film and I have to say while this would not be the type of movie I would typically set out to see it does leave you wondering what would you do if faced in a situation similar to that of Lacy.

Synopsis: From Academy Award® nominated* writer/director Kenneth Lonergan (You Can Count On Me) comes a stirring drama Rolling Stone calls “a film of rare beauty and shocking gravity.” Anna Paquin, Matt Damon and Mark Ruffalo lead a celebrated cast in the story of a Manhattan teenager whose life is profoundly altered after witnessing a terrible accident. Experience an emotional teen’s extraordinary journey to set things right as her innocent ideals come crashing against the harsh realities of the adult world. It’s an “extraordinarily ambitious film,” raves Time Magazine.

If you have not seen Margaret, you will be impressed with the cast which includes:  Anna Paquin, Mark Ruffalo, Matt Damon and Matthew Broderick.  Each plays a unique role in helping Lacy (Anna) come to terms with what has happened.

I can not share too much about Margaret without spoiling it for you.  I will sum it up by saying Margaret is a good reminder of how fast your life can take a radical change and even if you are not ready you will be tested and how you respond in that second can change can and will change your life forever.
