LAUGHING PIZZA: LIVE IN CONCERT: A FAMILY EXPERIENCE

I was recently introduced to a real,family-band called, Laughing Pizza, that features a mom (Lisa), dad (Billy) and teenage daughter (Emily), who write and perform completely original, family friendly music--you might have caught them on your local PBS station! Now you can catch them in a unique way, with the release of LAUGHING PIZZA: LIVE IN CONCERT: A FAMILY EXPERIENCE (Little Bean Family Entertainment, 2012), a special 2-disc set, which includes a DVD plus a bonus 11 song CD, and shows them live in concert from the Scholastic Theater in NYC, but it is much more that just a plain ol' concert!

This hour-long "docu-concert" for families takes viewers both behind the scenes and on stage with the family band, Laughing Pizza. Their live performance was filmed at the Scholastic Theater in New York City, and features Broadway Dance Center's incredible kids from their Children and Teen Program (CTP), a string trio from Juillard, and other special guests. Be the first to experience a Laughing Pizza concert on the big screen, and get to know Lisa, Billy, and their daughter, Emily, through personal interviews and the story behind the Pizza!

I really enjoyed Laughing Pizza's music, and it is inspiring to see a young lady still respect and love her parents, even through the teens years. Plus, her musical talent is impressive, including that she helped to write many of the songs with her parents. I watched the DVD, LAUGHING PIZZA: LIVE IN CONCERT: A FAMILY EXPERIENCE with my husband and 5 year old, and we enjoyed learning about their history and how a concert comes together for them. Their music is high energy, fun and is written about things families can completely relate to.  Their song, "Love Makes A Family" really hits home with us, it is actually something I quote quite frequently, even before hearing this song. I think their music and this concert DVD very enjoyable and completely family friendly!
