Huggies Pull-ups New Learning Designs Review & Giveaway

Anyone who has or has had a toddler, know just how challenging potty training can be, I sure do! My child is like many other children, who don't want to interrupt play when the have to go, unfortunately, that tends to lead to an accident. Huggies Pull-ups is working over time to help parents deal with this trying time.

Huggies Pull-Ups has played a vital roll in potty training in our household, they have expanded their Learning Designs (their style where the design fades when it gets wet!). They feature some of your little one's favorite Disney characters--Princesses for girls and Lightning McQueen for boys. Learning Designs slip on just like big kid underwear (but the also feature leakage protection and easy open sides for when those accidents happen). The are designed gender specific, extra adsorption built in the perfect place for boys vs. girls.
Pull-Ups has also created a new routine to help parents remind her child to stay consistent, called The Potty Break! You can find all the details on the Huggies Pull-Ups website, where you can also find a Big Kid Timer (downloadable onto your PC and Mac) and you can sign up for your child to get a phone call from Mater or Cinderella to help them jump start their potty training journey!

I have a not-so-good potty training story. I tried potty training my youngest a few weeks ago, but she got a UTI on the second day. so I haven't tried since. However, she DOES go poop on the potty now, so I guess that is good! but now I have to try again.

My best tip is to wait until the child is truly ready. Don't pressure them. It seems like society in general places such a big push on kids to be potty trained by a certain age. Every child is unique and some kids are not ready early. It's not their fault and they shouldn't have to deal with pressure for something beyond their control. My oldest son wasn't ready to even start until he turned 3. My daughter trained herself right at 24 months. So I've had both ends of the spectrum. I think my youngest boy will be awhile still and that's okay.
