Caring Candies Review & Giveaway

Are you looking for a healthy alternative to the traditional candy that kids ask for?  Caring Candies from The Really Healthy Stuff (REHEST) Company are healthy candy that taste great too!

Caring Candies are handcrafted, all-natural, sugar-free candies that are made without artificial sweeteners, flavors or colors. They contain NO preservatives, GMOs, gluten or fat! They are FREE OF the top 10 common allergens, free from wheat, nuts, soy, potato, egg, dairy, corn, rice, sesame, and yeast.  They are certified Kosher and are diabetic friendly with a very low glycemic index level of 9 (table sugar has a level of 60-65). They are also tooth friendly (with the exception of the sour version that have a bit higher pH).

So what exactly is in Caring Candies? They do contain natural flavors and colors (they uses turmeric, paprika, red cabbage & beets to develop the vibrant colors) and they are sweetened using Isomalt, which is a sugar alcohol derived exclusively from beet sugar. Isomalt absorbs little water, making it perfect for hard candies and lollipops. It has half the calories as sucrose, doesn't promote tooth decay, does not increase glucose levels, acts as a dietary fiber and provides the taste, appearance and texture of sugar creating candies you kids won't know is actually good for them!

I was excited to discover Caring Candies! Having a child with a red 40 dye allergy, safe fruity candies are not always easy for us to find, especially those that taste and look great, like these do. They are super cute too--great addition to any treat bag! The lollipops are handmade into spirals and bonbons on sticks. You can also get bonbons (their little hard candies) without a stick--perfect for Moms who enjoy a sweet now & then without wanting extra calories!  They also have candy canes, which I know is a bit early, but that was a hard pill for my son to swallow last year in kindergarten when he couldn't have a candy cane like everyone else in the class could--these are an awesome replacement--the other kids won't know the difference! My son (and so do I) loves the fruity lollipops! My husband and I tried the puremint bonbons and I do have to warn you, they are a strong mint, but they are really good! 

If you are looking for something sweet that is all-natural and allergy safe and Feingold approved, Caring Candies just might be what you are looking for! Our family really enjoy them!
