As always there are some new and fun things going on at Build-A-Bear Workshop this month.
For starters did you see the coupon in the 7/8 RP for $10 off a $30 purchase, if not be sure to cut it out and put in your purse for your stop at the mall because there are a few new friends you kids are going to want to check out.
First are the two new SKECHERS bears, Twinkle Toes Bear and Flames Hot Lights Bear, both light up and come with a coupon for your back to school shoe shopping.
Plus now through June 20th Build-A-Bear Workshop is partnering with SKECHERS to give one Friend 12 free pairs of SKECHERS. For all the details and to enter just head over to the Friends Count section of the Build-A-Bear Workshop Facebook page.
If you are like me you will not be making a trip to Disney this summer, but still want to bring a little of the magic home. If so the new Minnie Mouse Inspired Bear between her super cute bow, toes and outfits she will be your child best summer friend.
Releasing today are two of your friends from ICE AGE, Sid and Scrat. We visited the store yesterday and noticed they were getting ready for their arrival, we can't wait to see them in person!

the first time that my son made a build a bear he wrote about it in pre-k. I got a keepsake book and the drawing and story he made were in the book. Including a picture of a bear with a heart in him!

Two years ago I took my 2 and 5 year old grandsons to Build a Bear to get a friend made for them for Christmas. My grandson that had just turned 5 was having the heart put in his bear when the worker asked him his name. He told her Josef and then spelled it for her. We had been trying to teach him and that was the first time he had ever gotten it right. I was so proud of him.

Girl Scout Daisy Bear
A few years ago I won a Darth Vader Build A Bear, and for my daughter's bday we bought it a girly outfit. And this year I had to buy the Britney and Alvin Chipmunks online b/c the stores were out of Britney. So my daughter has never been into the store to make a bear, and I would like her to do that.

I was so excited to take my daughter to build-a-bear for the first time. When they stuffed her bear the machine was too loud for her and scared her - she started running out of the store. She did love her bear once it was done though :)
