Summer is here and my son is beyond excited about going camping, in fact, we have already set up our tent in the backyard for him and Daddy to "campout" in the backyard once this summer and we are heading to the campgrounds for a weekend of fun cousins soon. They look for animals, cook their own dinner, marvel at the stars in the sky, roast marshmallows, and sing songs around the campfire.  Join the adventure and sing along!

With Sid the Science Kid, I know my child is being educated while being entertained and Sid the Science Kid: Sid's Backyard Campout thrilled him even more since he was about to go camping as well. It teaches kids about nature and what kids can find right around their yards, plus it helps reassure children that they don't need to be afraid of the dark. It is one of my favorite shows on PBS Kids and to with me on DVD in the car (I am sure this one will be watched at least once during our drive to the campground (running time is approximately 45 minutes).
