Are you gearing up for the Olympics? I am really not that into sports, but I find myself watching the Summer Olympics every 4 years. I remember watching the hurdler Lolo Jones at the last Olympics as she was on her way to winning the gold medal when her foot clipped the last hurdle costing her the race. She is determined to come out on top in London in just about a month or so. My husband showed me the great story about her on Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel on HBO. She had to overcome a lot to get where she is today, including attending 8 different schools in 8 years while her single mother often worked 2 jobs to support her family of six.
The reason I mention her is because she has partnered with P&G and announced that they are donating $25,000 on behalf of Family Dollar to the P&G Team USA Youth Sports Fund.
