Keeping Up With My Springfield Mommy on Facebook

Have you been on Facebook lately? If so, I am sure you have seen that they have made some more changes recently and you may not be seeing upates from your favorite pages anymore, like My Springfield Mommy.  Here are a few ideas to help you be able to see what's going on on your favorite pages.

1.  Comment and/or Like posts.  This is the easiest way to see more from pages you like, but it's not a 100% guarantee.  When you interact with a page you'll see more of what is posted in your news feed which means you won't miss out on time sensitive deals!  I would still recommend on the options below to be sure you don't miss out on goodies!

2. Sign up for email updates or subscribe in a reader.  Yes, I know this doesn't have anything to do with Facebook, but it is a great option since Facebook is always switching things up on us!  Plus a reader is a very quick way to get through posts from all your favorite sites!   It's how I get all my news since I can very quickly click through posts that don't interest me. If you are not subscribed to Fort Hood Savers you can sign up for FREE emails or articles via RSS HERE.

3.  Hover over the Like Button on the My Springfield Mommy Facebook Page and make sure that there is a check next to show in News Feed.  (You would think subscribing to a page would automatically do this, but Facebook felt differently...).

4.  If you are like me and have a lot of like pages you may want to create a list.  To do so you will hover of the like button and click on New List. (See image above)  Name Your list something like Deal Sites or Coupon Pages or any other name you want and add the page.  When you go to do this on other like pages, you'll just be able to click on the name of the list you want to add it to.

This is a good option since you can get easily organized lists on your Facebook homepages.  You can find your lists under interests on the left sidebar when you are under your home page.  When you click on the list you'll get chronological (because that actually makes sense unlike timeline...) list of posts from all your favorite pages you have added to that list!

I hope this helps you keep up with My Springfield Mommy and all your other favorite Facebook pages!  You can join us on Twitter and Pinterest!
