Your kids have visited all the Springfield sites and now it is time for them to have a little fun of their very own. On our trip to Springfield our daughter and Michelle's son visited the Build A Bear Workshop at White Oaks Mall.
If you have been reading the site for a while then you know about our daughter's love of Build A Bear. On this trip it was Michelle's family first time they had taken the time to make a new friend since their son is old enough to truly enjoy the experience. To date this visit was the most enjoyable visits, it was fun seeing both kids having so much fun together.
Michelle's son, has always had an interest in Monkeys so it was only natural that he picked out the Marble Monkey, which is named Dino. The big question when you get a Monkey named Dino, is what should he wear? After about a half dozen outfit changes, he became a Cardinals player.
On the other hand, our daughter, knew walking in the door that Peace & Hearts Bear would be coming home with her. She had spent the whole week before preparing by looking online and in a catalog that we had received in the mail. She also knew that a purple bear must have a matching purple dress so the Disney Rapunzel seemed like the most logical outfit.
Both kids had so much fun. The lady working that night made the heart ceremony extra special by adding a few extra steps that kept the kids on their toes.

The fun is never ending at Build A Bear Workshops. Next time you are at the mall, take a minute and just walk past the store.....it is sure to put a smile on your face even if you are just window shopping!
