Trick-or-Treating at White Oaks Mall

White Oaks Mall will offer Springfield-area children a safe place to take part in their annual Mall-O-Ween event from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 31.

Schwan's Starter Crust Review & Contest

We love homemade pizza, but I frequently don't have time to mess with making the crust. Schwan's Home Service has recently introduced their Schwan's Starter Crust that completely takes the extra work out of making a pizza at home.

We were able to try a Schwan's Starter Crust and I was impressed with how good it tasted. It was much like a hand-tossed restaurant pizza crust, not thin, but not thick either, and so easy to make, simply add your toppings, not charge other than at the grocery for extra toppings and you can each have your own section of favorite toppings and bake as instructed. Everyone in my family enjoyed the taste of the pizza and my 4 year old loved helping make the pizza! We decided to make ours into a Halloween creation with a Black cat made out of black olives on a cheddar cheese background.
