Sheaffer Prelude Mini Ballpoint Review & Giveaway

Sheaffer (a division of BIC Inc) has been providing the world with classic, elegant and reliable pens since 1912. Their current line of writing & calligraphy instruments is very impressive.

I got to inspect one of their latest styles for this review, the Sheaffer Prelude Mini Ballpoint pen. The Prelude Mini has a classic Sheaffer look but it is just more petite. It would be great in a small handbag or even in your pocket if need be. It features a smooth twist-action mechanism and takes a standard Sheaffer refill. It is available in 6 different finishes. Mine is a Rose Gold finish that I really like. 

I find the Sheaffer Prelude Mini to be nicely weighted (not to heavy and not too light). It looks classy and writes smoothly. It comes presented in a luxury gift box and includes a protective pouch (hidden under the display platform) and a 3 year limited warranty.

The Sheaffer Prelude Mini would make a great Mother's Day gift or Graduation gift. I remember receiving my first professional style pen upon graduation and I still have it to this day and lets just say I have been out of school for more than a few years!

Kick Seasonal Allergies With Xlear

It does seem to be helping, I find that they are indeed soothing and it seems that my son is having a bit of an easier time breathing as well (our pediatrician has him on an OTC antihistamine, but adding KID'S Xlear to the antihistamine that he is already on seems to be doing the trick for him).

Left Behind Games Send a Positive Message

Sometimes finding a family-friendly video game with a positive message that is still a blast can be difficult. Well, I was recently introduced to some Christian-based video games that my family has had tons of fun playing!

Left Behind Games, Inc has been a pioneer in the development and publishing of Christian video games. You will find their games under the trade names such as: Inspired Media Entertainment, LB Games, Cloud 9 Games and Praise Champion. Their entertainment products support positive values that appeal to both faith-based and mainstream viewers. Their products are available at Walmart and many Christian based stores, including Family Christian Stores, LifeWay Christian Stores, Berean Christian Stores and Mardel Christian Stores.

My family was given 4 different games to try out. Here are each of the games and a synopsis from the company website:

My family has been playing these games over the past few days and has been having lots of fun! We like that these games are Christian-based and are uplifting, challenging, educational and entertaining. Our 4 year old, is just starting to discover the computer and having Charlie Church Mouse to guide him has been a blessing. He has also been "helping" Daddy solve the Keys to the Kingdom puzzles. We all learned tons from the King Solomon's Trivia Challenge but were pretty surprised at how much we actually knew as well! I think our favorite might be the Praise Champion Karaoke World Tour--simply because we laughed so much with it--believe me, we are sooo NOT going on tour anytime soon! My only wish for these games is that they come out with some versions of their products for the gaming systems (Wii, Playstation, Nintendo DS etc), I would definitely be interested, but for now we will keep playing on our computer!
