Heaven is for Real for Kids Giveaway

 

 

You may have read about 4 year old Colton Burpo's journey to heaven and back in the his fathers book "Heaven is for Real," now Colton is retelling his story (with the help of his parents) for children in the new children's book, Heaven is for Real for Kids (Tommy Nelson, Nov. 8, 2011).

Heaven is for Real for Kids is written as Colton Burpo told his parents, Todd & Sonja Burpo, from the perspective of the child. The book has been beautifully illustrated under the direction of Colton and each page contains a bible verse that is remarkably like Colton's description. Colton tells children that "Jesus really, really loves children!" and "Everyone is happy there!" He tells us about the people, animals, angels and views that he saw while he was in heaven and how Jesus told him "Colton, you have to go back now. I am answering your dad's prayer." 

I thought this was a wonderfully written, amazing and inspiring book for children. I think it would be a great book to help children learn about God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit and heaven.
