From experience I tell you that the Evenflo Jump & Go Red Racer is a great gadget for baby.   It does not take up floor space, it can easily be taken to grandma's house.  I also like that if this is your first child you can easily store this jumper under the bed until the baby comes along.  It is also safe and I have yet to find a baby who does not LOVE their jumpers!
