I enjoy a glass of wine periodically with meals, however I don't always know what the best variety of wine to serve/enjoy with a particular type of food and I am sure with a bit more knowledge I could really use the wines I choose to enhance the flavors of them meals. But, just where would I get that kind of knowledge quickly and easily (my life is a bit chaotic and I don't have time for a class)? I found this book to be very informative and helpful and I think that people who are just beginning to understand/discover wine & food pairings will find this book very helpful. I am looking forward to trying out a "pairing party" since most of my friends are really just discovering how to pair, plus it would be a great girls night out!
