Don't Fight A Smelly Dorm! Fresh Wave Review & Giveaway

Fresh Wave products are designed to eliminate (not cover up) odors in your home, car or just about anywhere naturally. Created by world leader in commercial and consumer odor management, OMI Industries, it has over 20 years of experience wrapped up into one product line for you to use in your home. All Fresh Wave products use the power of nature for safe, non-toxic odor elimination without the use of perfumes or fragrances. They use simple ingredients like:
  • Lime,
  • Pine Needles,
  • Aniseed,
  • Clove,
  • Cedarwood and
  • Water
The Fresh Wave product line currently consists of Sprays, Crystal Gel, Soy Candles, Pearl Packs, Fresh Wash, Vacuum Pearls, Carpet Shake, Baby, Kits and Pet Shampoo.

I was given several samples of Fresh Wave to check out plus My Springfield Mommy readers will also have a chance to win the same products that I have been checking out so I decided to split the post in to 3 separate posts to match the giveaways.

In this post I am going to tell you about the Fresh Wave Fresh Wash.

Fresh Wave Natural Odor Eliminator Laundry Fresh Wash is the perfect addition to any laundry room. Here is the description from the bottle:
Fresh Wave Fresh Wash naturally eliminates lingering odors in laundry and in the washer, leaving you with a fresh, fragrance-free environment.Favorite sweatshirts and lucky socks owe their existence to a capful added to the wash or rinse cycle.
To use:

Laundry--add 2 capfuls to your load during either the wash or rinse cycle--you can use up to 3 capfuls for stronger odors.

Front Load Washer--to remove odor from washer, apply to rubber gasket around the rim of the door with a soft cloth, then wipe dry. Repeat as needed. Treat once weekly to prevent odor recurrence.

Let my just say--It worked for me! I have an issue with stinky dishcloths and washcloths in my house--particularly with the heat and humidity this summer--it has been a never ending battle and I was heading to adding bleach back to my line up when Fresh Wave Fresh Wash was sent my way. Man, I wish I had discovered this earlier! First, the ingredient list is only those items listed above--nothing extra. I was worried that anything I used Fresh Wave Fresh Wash with would smell like a cedar-pine forest (which isn't a bad smell, but I just didn't want that to be all I smelled in the house), but once the clothes were dried--I couldn't really smell it at all--they just smelled clean, no more sour, funky, nasty, smelling wash/dishcloths!  It really has been doing wonders on getting rid of the stinky, sweaty smell on our clothes with these temps running at 90+ and ridiculous humidity! Let me tell you, I love this stuff!

Fresh Wave products can be found at retailers nationwide including ACE Hardware and Bed, Bath & Beyond!  So, if you have a Front Load Washer or just battle with stinky laundry--Fresh Wave Fresh Wash might just be the solution to your laundry room problems--it has been for mine and it did it naturally!  You can stay up to date on all their products and possible uses by following them on Facebook, Twitter and their YouTube channel.
