Alexia Foods is an all-natural food company best known for their wide range of delicious appetizers, breads, fries, potatoes and sweet potatoes in the freezer section. Alexia offers consumers gourmet-inspired side dishes prepared in under 20 minutes to help make their everyday spring meals extraordinary. From Alexia’s legendary Oven Reds and Spicy Sweet Potato Fries to their Ciabatta and Focaccia rolls, the options are endless!

In fact, Alexia recently teamed up with Celebrity Chef Tyler Florence to create gourmet recipes paired with a few of his favorite Alexia products, showcasing how well these delicious additions go with any dinner lineup. Especially as spring brings warmer weather and unique family meal occasions, an easy-to-create, delicious side dish is an important staple any day of the week.

Over the past few days my family has been trying a few of the Alexia Foods products.
We started with the Mashed Potatoes, aside from being easy to prepare they tasted homemade, which at my house is a rare treat.  They go perfect with just about anything, but we dished them up with pork chops and green beans.
Today for lunch I tried the Waffle Fries.  I do not make a habit of making fries at home, mainly because frying is not something I do at home and the average fry is just soggy when you bake it.  Not Alexia, for the first time I was able to bake a fry that was crisp out of the oven and that had just the perfect amount of seasoning that did not overwhelm the rest of the meal.  I will be stocking up on these the next time I am at the store.
Having a three year old means a lot of pasta dishes so a Garlic Baguette is just what this house needed.  If you have had it before you know how crisp the crust bakes up and how it fills the entire kitchen with the scent of garlic while it is baking.  I ended up eating more of the bread than the pasta!
Lastly, we tried the Sweet Potato Puffs, this is the newest product in the Alexia line up.  I am not a big sweet potato person, but my husband tried them and he was very happy with them.  He liked that they baked up crispy like a fry, but still had all the flavor of a sweet potato.

There is more to what Alexia has to offer than what I have tried.  If you are looking for some quick and easy sides to add a little something extra to your dinner Alexia is able to help.  Right now you will get a $1.00 coupon when you like Alexia Foods on Facebook or when you sign up for their newsletter.
