Walmart and Proctor & Gamble (P&G) have teamed up to bring you family friendly movies to hopefully help families reconnect through the Family Movie Nights! On Saturday, April 16th 8/7c on Fox, Walmart and P&G are bringing us a new movie for Family Movie Night called, Truth be Told.
Here is the synopsis of Truth be Told from the Family Movie Night website:
When leading marriage counselor Annie Morgan (Candace Cameron Bure) is offered an opportunity to host a relationship talk show, she jumps at the chance. But fearful that being single might ruin her big break, she conspires with an old college friend and recent widower, Mark Crane (David James Elliott), to pose as a married couple with kids. Their story starts to unravel when Annie and Mark join her eccentric soon-to-be boss (Ronny Cox) for a weekend at his ranch in New Mexico. Comical misunderstandings mark the event as Annie struggles to keep up the ruse, finding herself emotionally invested and conflicted by her own conscience. Will she confess the truth about her marital status and her feelings for Mark... and will the truth set them free?
I love the whole idea of Family Movie Night. It
seems like we are in the era of higher technology and "always on the go"
lifestyles, family together time seems to be a rarity. Not only that
but it can be difficult to find a movie or even a television show that
is appropriate for all ages involved--Walmart and P&G Family Movie
Night is absolutely wonderful in my opinion! I love a feel good movie
with a message to be learned and that is exactly the type of movie that
they have picked for Family Movie Night!
I was able to get a sneak peak at Truth be Told
(and was also sent a viewing kit in exchange for my honest opinion). I
really enjoyed the movie. I liked the messages that are intermingled
throughout the movie, including little messages like living green and
caring for the environment and the environment will care for you,
standing up for what you believe in and reach for what you want and of
course always tell the truth. Of course, this was a feel good movie that
you just can't help but enjoy! Plus their were a couple of fun cameos
in the movie--including a former NFL superstar and an American Idol
favorite (or at least a favorite of mine)--you'll have to watch to see
who! It also has a great soundtrack!
I definitely recommend setting aside time on Saturday, April 16th 8/7 c for Family Movie Night and watch Truth be Told
on FOX. Grab some popcorn or your whatever you family's favorite movie
treats are and share some time together watching a family-friendly
movie!

I believe making time to do special things like movie nights are important with your family as the kids age. We also like to play board games and video games on the TV. I would love to watch this particular movie because I enjoy both actors in this film, Candace Cameron Bure and David James Elliott.

We don't have a Family Movie Night as such (I always wanted to use as such in a sentence). Other than a movie, we spend time together by watching our team's baseball games. What makes me want to watch this movie is the family values, positive aspect review of this movie.

It's a great time for my daughter & I to spend an hour & a half together enjoying a laugh or a cry. We don't have cable or internet & she's involved in school & JROTC so it's nice to sit & relax together.

I have neck & back injuries & can't turn my neck too far either way so my 16 yr old daughter does a lot of the driving for me.
