Mixbook is a
great website that allows you to completely customize photo books,
cards and calendars. You are no longer limited to the unchangeable
pre-designed templates, with Mixbook's design software, you have the freedom to make it your own! Mixbook
also allows you to collaborate with others to create an unique &
joint project, such as a extended family scrapbook or school yearbook.

I was given the opportunity to put together an
11x8.5" Classic Landscape Hardcover 20 page book. Everything was pretty
simple and self explanatory. I decided to put together a project that I
had never been able to find the perfect theme to fit prior to this, an
international adoption tale. After looking at their many, many theme
options I went with "Blank Canvas". Then I moved on to upload the
pictures I wanted in the book, I did it in stages, I felt less
overwhelmed that way (I was narrowing down a few thousand pictures into a
book with a few dozen). I worked my way through the book by date.
I liked that I could choose a template, I would
choose one that fit the number of pictures and any journaling that I
wanted, but I liked that I could make adjustments to where I felt I
needed--several times I would adjust the picture size or drag it
slightly to another spot. I also added journaling to an area where there
wasn't originally any. I liked that I could go through and choose the
background paper that I wanted (including to the cover), and that I had
the option of adding "sticker" & such if I would have wanted to add
something more. Once I was completed, I had the option to order it,
which I did. It was delivered a few days later. It was just as I
expected it to be. It is well put together and will most likely hold up
for many years!
I was very impressed with how personalize-able Mixbook's
photo albums were. I would recommend going on and playing a bit because
the longer I worked with it the more I learned what all I could do with
it. I am very happy with how my Mixbook turned out and my child loves having his very own storybook about him.
