Take the family to the Illinois State Museum today for another Free Super Saturday Event.
Saturday's event is called "Music Around the World". According to the museum website, "Music is an important part of all cultures. Learn about music and instruments from around the world. Make your own musical instrument while listening to music from different countries. This program is being held in conjunction with the Celebrate Cultural Diversity! family event."
Super Saturdays take place on the second Saturday of each month and the recommended age range is 4-8.
Activities are ongoing from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, take 30 to 45 minutes to complete, and feature take-home crafts. Parents and families are encouraged to participate. Registration is not required for this activity.
