Hello Kitty Seasons Wii Game Review

The first ever Hello Kitty game for Wii was just released last month and it is called "Hello Kitty Seasons". It is published by Zoo Games, the same company that has recently released Shawn Johnson Gymnastics. 

This is an adventure-based and interactive experience where the main objective is to help manage and grow a really colorful and fun village called Sanrio town.  There are fun missions that must be performed and mini-games that come up from time to time.  What is really neat, is that you follow your character and Sanrio Town through the changing of the seasons, which create new missions and games.  The games are not difficult to play, so even younger children should be able to play them.  I know my daughter really loved watching her character explore Sanrio Town and visiting the many shops and talking to the other residents.  Throughout the game you earn Hello Kitty Coins that you can use to purchase clothes and other items.  If you really get into the game, you can upgrade the buildings in town.  All along the way, Hello Kitty is your guide and she will constantly call you on your cell phone to give you tips and new missions.

I can not emphasize how impressed I was with how colorful the scenery is in this game.  It really is a fun game to just watch, let alone play. Hello Kitty Seasons is available at Amazon for $19.99.

Ola Loa Vitamins Review & Giveaway

On December 31st, 2010, I posted a notice for a free sample from Ola Loa--I was also able to try out some of their effervescent vitamins. Shawn Johnson Gymnastics Review & Giveaway (2 Winners)

Having a daughter that is starting to get into dance and gymnastics, I was excited to get a copy of Shawn Johnson Gymnastics to try out for my Wii system.  This game is created by Zoo Games. 

My daughter is still a little too young to try this game out, but she certainly enjoyed watching the action on the screen...and there really is some good action in this game.  You train and compete in all four apparatuses in women's gymnastics; uneven bars, balance beam, floor and vault.  You perform these routines by using the Wii Remote and Nunchuk to execute the different required moves. In the cases where there are a series of moves to perform you have to stay on your toes as you operate both controllers.  As you advance, you can choreograph your own routines.  Throughout the game, you get great advice from Olympic Gold Medalist All Around Champion, Shawn Johnson.

There is a really fun career mode where you work your way up the gymnastics ladder from amateur to champion.  By nailing your routines, you will unlock cool bonuses. In addition to career mode you can challenge up to eight friends in multiplayer.  I can definitely see this would be a fun game at parties.

This game is also available for the Nintendo DS.  On this system, the players leverage the stylus to draw and create patterns on the device's touch sensitive screen in order to the in-game character to perform different moves and motions.

The Nintendo Wii version of this game is available at Amazon for $26.71. The Nintendo DS version is also available at Amazon for $19.99.

Pay It Forward With Your Expired Coupons

Yesterday over 1,000 coupons expired at the end of the day.  Now is a good time to go through your coupon organization system and weed out all your expired coupons. Or, maybe it is a good time to start a new system if yours didn't work in 2010. But WAIT! Don't throw out those expired coupons! You can send them to the military bases overseas - they are good there for 6 months past their expiration date!

As you go through your coupons tonight and take out the expired to replace with the great new ones, think about sending your expired to our military members overseas through the Overseas Coupon Program. Get your coupons together, read through the adoption section to adopt a base, and send them over. It's easy and it helps our service members overseas. Thanks for paying it forward :)

Build Your Own Chocolate With Choccreate Review & Giveaway

 Imagine if you could add just about anything imaginable to chocolate...

Sounds too good to be true right?  Well Choccreate has designed a company that does just this.  It all starts with your selection of either Milk, Dark or White Chocolate.  From there you then select the fruit, nuts, spices, herbs, cereals, candies, crackers and everything and I mean everything in between.

I ordered a few candy bars just before Christmas, and let me tell you they did not last long.  The most popular of the bars I ordered was dark chocolate with pineapple and white chocolate with kiwi and almond slivers.  I held back my personal favorite of white chocolate with coconut.

The ordering process is simple and quick allowing you to go between the screens to select the best topping for bar.  However, if building the perfect bar is not for you there are many bars that are part of their daily collection.

One thing I did not expect to see was a expiration date on the bars I made.  I have to laugh because the bars are tagged good through March 2011, but how anyone expects them to last that long is beyond me.

NiNi Toy Bungee Review and Giveaway
