Smarty Rents has taken and created an online rental for those games. It works much like Netflix does for movies. You select the games you would like to play, they mail them to you, you keep them as long as you would like. When you are finished return the game and get a new one sent right to your home. There are never any late charges so you can keep the games as long as your child would like. However, if your child falls in love with the game and will not send it back you can purchase it from Smarty Rents.
Smarty Rents offers games that work with eight systems, including Little Leaps, Click Start, Leapster, Diji, V Smile Baby, V. Smile, V. Smile Motion and the V. Flash.
After purchasing the Leapster2 this week I opened an account with
Smarty Rents. It was very simple to sign up and only took a few minutes. Once I was enrolled it was on to selecting the games that would be suitable for a 2 1/2 year old. I expected this to be a challenge since I am new to the Leapster and new to Smarty Rents, but it was very simple. I chose to select games based on age and skill level.
Smarty Rents narrowed down which would be ideal for my daughter and just yesterday we received our first game, "The Letter Factory". I have a feeling it will be here for a while, which makes me grateful that there are no late fees with Smarty Rents.
