Are you looking for a fun way to get your child involved in the kitchen? If you answered yes or you already have an aspiring cook or baker then you should really try Yummy Dough.
Yummy Dough is basically edible play dough. It starts out as packages of powder but once you add some water they turn into dough that you can knead and shape into whatever your imagination can dream up. The dough becomes 4 colors: red, blue, green and yellow. Once you have your creations made, you can either eat the dough raw or bake them.
My husband, daughter and I made an entire cookie sheet of Yummy Dough creations this past weekend. This project was just as much fun for us as it was for our daughter. It was fun to see the white powder transform into the 4 different colors and then become usable dough by working the water into it. Then the real fun began when we were able to make different creations with it...we had flowers, princesses, animals and a bunch of other designs ready to be put in the oven. My daughter enjoyed getting to play with her food and not get corrected by Mommy or Daddy. =)
