The Italian Tenor Vittorio Grigolo CD Review & Giveaway

My Italian is a little bit rusty...okay, non-existent, but I can certainly appreciate a great voice and great music, and that is what I heard when I listened to the new CD by THE up and coming tenor Vittorio Griglio. His new CD was released on October 5th by Sony Classical and is appropriately titled "The Italian Tenor".

Even casual fans of opera have heard the names Pavorotti, Domingo and Carrerras, and now I think I have heard the voice that will carry the tenor torch in the opera world for many, many years to come.

On this CD, Grigolo tackles works from Verdi, Donizetti and Puccini. As I said, even if you do not know what he is signing, you can appreciate the passion and talent he has...plus the orchestra accompanying him is fun to listen to as well.
