12 Tips For A Superbaby

You hear Superbaby and you think ok another book on how to teach my kid to read, write, excel in math, do a science project and speak two languages all by they time they are two.

In fact this book is just the opposite. Dr. Jenn Berman looks beyond all the traditional topics you would expect to find in a book like this and focuses on 12 areas that help your child's emotional intelligent and development.

She will offer advice on how to avoid tantrums, how to create good sleeping habits, foods to avoid and how to reduce toxic chemical exposure at home (to name a few)

We have always struggled with sleeping. Either our daughter is up all night or she will only sleep between us, there never seems to be a compromise. What I found useful was how she suggests calming the child by talking about what happened that day while brushing teeth and putting on pj's. I am guilty of doing just the opposite, we talk to our daughter and tell her you have to go to sleep because tomorrow we have school (or whatever the event is). I can see how rather than claiming her down I am really just exciting her for the next days activities.

If you have challenges with your child this may just be the book to help you.
