Today is the second Saturday of the month which means you should take your family to the Illinois State Museum for another Super Saturday event.
The event is called "Outside at the Museum". This is part of the museum's "Leave No Child Inside Month" program. Your child will have the chance to use sidewalk chalk as part of a large art project. Other activities include searching for wildlife on the museum's grounds and learning any easy way to tell which way the wind blows.
The event goes from 10am-4pm and is FREE. The activities are ongoing and usually take 30 to 45 minutes to complete.
Super Saturdays take place on the second Saturday of each month and the recommended age range is 4-8.
For more information, check out the Museum's site.
Let me know if you go and how much fun you had!
