50th Anniversary Of The Sound Of Music Giveaway

This week the Sound of Music will celebrate it's 50th anniversary.

It was on November 16th, 1959 that the Sound of Music made is Broadway opening at the Lunt-Fontanne Theater. Little did Rodgers and Hammerstein know they had made history.

To celebrate they are releasing the original Broadway cast CD completely restored along with an amazingly detailed pop up book that will bring this story to life for your children.

I have been listening to "Favorite Things" all week, this like all the song from Sound of Music are so uplifting and really do have the ability to make you feel good. I am even going to put the DVD on my holiday list this year.

If you will be in New York on Monday, November 16th you are invited to Barnes and Noble at the Lincoln Triangle on 66th. At 5pm they will be hosting a Sound of Music event and you will be able to get your very own pop up book at this time and will be able to have it autographed while you are there.

Amazon is selling both the pop up book and CD so you can order yours now.

I will be giving away one of this amazing pop up books. This book will give you an opportunity to step into the Von Trapps home in Austria and introduce this time loved story with your child.

I will run this giveaway until Sunday, November 22nd at 8pm.
